Dead Man's Shoes with Liam Dempsey

Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.

In episode 25 Sam is joined by Liam Dempsey, co-host of Spocklight: A Star Trek Podcast, a show that explores the Star Trek franchise from a non-Trekkie perspective.

Liam has chosen Shane Meadows's 2004 revenge drama Dead Man's Shoes (86 minutes) starring Paddy Considine, Gary Stretch and Toby Kebbell.

Liam and Sam talk about Shane Meadows's use of violence on screen, Toby Kebbell's impressive big screen debut and the film's experimental origins.

We unfortunately experienced some technical issues whilst recording this episode, you may notice a drop in audio quality towards the end of the show.
